International Shipping Terms & Conditions

Please note that international billing and shipping addresses must be the same. Please use a valid street address, as we do not ship to APO, FPO or PO boxes. International orders are not guaranteed to ship within 24 hours because additional verification is sometimes necessary. FedEx states that most shipments arrive within one week. However, some shipments may take up to 3 weeks to arrive based on your country and its customs policies. We ask that you please allow time for your package to clear customs. Risk of damage, loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon delivery to FedEx.

Customs Duties & Other Fees

Items in your order that are designated for shipment to countries outside of The United States may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. ("Import Fees"). The recipient of the package is the importer of record in the destination country and is solely responsible for all of these fees. In order for PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company to comply with export regulations, we are required by U.S. law to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable "merchandise".

Please note that shipping charges do not include any taxes, customs duties or fees.

You authorize PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company to designate FedEx as your carrier and to act as your agent on your behalf to clear your merchandise with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, process AND advance any actual duties, taxes and import fees owed by you, on your behalf, for your item(s).

You further agree that FedEx may disclose to Pittsburgh Jeans Company the actual amount of import fees levied on the item(s) you purchased.

Gifts

In the case of gifts or other purchases made on behalf of another recipient, you also agree to grant the foregoing authorizations on behalf of the recipient designated in your order. If the order is a GIFT, the package will be marked GIFT, but the cost of the item(s) will still be included on the customs form. Customs authorities require PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company to declare the total value of the gift item(s) directly on the package.

To obtain details regarding the Actual Import Fees, or obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you may contact FexEx directly through your shipment confirmation email.

Please keep in mind that the person receiving the gift will be responsible for all import fees and duties upon arrival.

Delays

PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company does not assume responsibility for delays on any shipments due to inclement weather within the USA and internationally. Please keep in mind that transit time for shipping is an estimation from FedEx and cannot be guaranteed by PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company. When international orders arrive at the destination country, they may be subject to customs procedural clearances which may sometimes cause delays beyond our delivery estimates. We suggest that all international customers place multiple smaller orders, as opposed to one large order, since smaller orders are less likely to be charged duties, but it varies by country.

FREE Returns!

(USA Only within 15 days)

We gladly offer full refunds on any full price purchases returned within 15 days from the date you received your purchase. All returned garments must be in the original/unworn condition in which they were shipped, with all original tags attached, unworn and unwashed, and free of odors or stains. If you feel you have been shipped a "defective" garment please notify us within 2 days of receipt at service@pjcplus.com. Refunds on "defective" garments are granted once we receive the return and it is evaluated by our staff.

All purchases made by USA customers at pittsburghjeanscompany.com must be returned using our pre-paid FedEx return labels that is included in all orders. We reserve the right to refuse any return that is shipped COD or may deduct the COD amount from the refund. Please allow 7 days for the transit on returned packages.

Please note: Any returns received by pittsburghjeanscompany.com after 15 days will incur a $10 fee which will be charged at the time of return.

Conditions:

  • Upgraded shipping charges chosen by the customer other than our FREE shipping service is non-refundable, if a customer elects to have expedited shipping they are responsible for any associated costs.
  • All items from our COMPANY STORE are considered FINAL SALE and non-returnable.
  • Any garment that is CUSTOM TAILORED is considered a FINAL SALE and non-returnable.
  • All SALE/DISCOUNTED items are considered FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return.

We make it very easy for our customers to make returns! Please be sure to read our return policies listed above and follow these simple directions:

  1. Complete the enclosed PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company Return Form located at the bottom of your invoice by circling the items you are returning and listing one of the "Reason Codes" in the box next to each item.
  2. If you misplaced your original invoice, simply go to My Account and select your Order History. Select the correct order and print a new invoice.
  3. ENCLOSE the Return Form in your box.
  4. Package items securely making sure that there are no previous labels or barcodes on the outside of the box.
  5. Affix the pre-paid FedEx return label to the outside of the box and retain the the top portion of the label to track your return.
  6. Drop off the box at the nearest FedEx drop off location. For drop-off locations please call 1800-GOFEDEX.

Tracking a Return

To track a return, simply log on to www.fedex.com and enter the tracking number located on the receipt of your pre-paid FedEx return label.

  • Once we receive your return, we will notify you by email within 24 hours.
  • Please allow 5 business days from the time of receipt for your return to be processed.

USA Returns not using our pre-paid FedEx labels:

All returns made NOT using the pre-paid FedEx labels are made at the risk of the customer. Whereby the customer assumes full responsibility for all costs including but not limited to loss, customs, and taxes, etc. We highly recommend using a shipper with tracking information. This will offer you recourse in the event that your package is lost or damaged in transit.

NOTE ON HOLIDAY RETURNS: Any items returned that are purchased between November 1st and December 24th must be received by Pittsburgh Jeans Company no later than January 10th.

International Returns

The customer is responsible for all return shipping, duties and taxes. If you return an item and PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company is charged a tax or duty fee, this amount(s) will be deducted from your original order total before we credit your account. To make an International Return, please follow the same guidelines as our standard return method, with the exception of your return being prepaid. PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company treats International Returns the same as our standard Return and Refund Policy.

We highly recommend using a shipper with tracking information. This will offer you recourse in the event that your package is lost or damaged in transit.

Refused Shipments

If you refuse a shipment from PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company, you are responsible for all shipping charges (both to and from you) in addition to any other fees, including any import fees. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund once your shipment arrives back to PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer "traditional" exchanges at this time. We suggest that that you purchase an alternate item or size and ship your return back for a full refund. The best part is, we cover all of the shipping both ways.

Timeliness of Refunds

Your refund will be processed within 5 days upon arriving at our facility. Each garment is inspected upon arrival to ensure that it meets our requirements before the refund is processed. We will be sure to send you an email alerting you once your return has been processed in our system. From there please feel free to follow up with your financial institution as it may take a full billing cycle for the funds to post to your account.

Order Processing

Unlike other retailers, PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company WILL NOT charge your account until your selected merchandise is available, allocated and ships. We will contact you via email in the event that an item you selected is no longer in stock, back ordered, or we need additional information for processing your order. Orders are subject to verification and we are not responsible for typographical errors on behalf of the customer. Please note that upon placing an order, an automated email is sent to you confirming your intent to purchase. This order does not constitute a contract, and orders may be cancelled at any time due to insufficient stock, inability to authorize a credit card, suspicion of fraudulent intent, discovery of an incorrect item price, or any other reason as we see fit. Also note that pittsburghjeans company.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not a customer's credit card has been charged. If your credit card has been charged and your order has been cancelled, pittsburghjeanscompany.com will issue a credit to your card within 24 hours.

Orders placed between Fridays after 1pm EST through midnight on Sunday EST will begin processing the following Monday. Delivery time does not include Saturday's, Sunday's or Holidays unless otherwise specified by the customer through upgraded shipping. In this case, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs which can be upgraded at time of checkout.

All prices and fees are charged in U.S. Dollars. PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company also accepts U.S. Postal Money Orders and/or Certified Bank Checks. In such instances, please contact us so that we can accommodate you. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks or wire transfers.

If the credit card being used to make a purchase cannot be verified as belonging to the person placing the order, the order will not be processed.

Telephone Orders

We accept telephone orders Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm EST. Please call us at 1-888-681-JEAN. Phone orders do not allow us to request traditional forms of identification, such as a driver's license. Instead, we conduct address verification through your credit/debit card issuer to confirm your identity and verify the validity of your purchase, thereby ultimately protecting your credit. For phone orders, both your billing and shipping addresses must be verified as well as match before an order ships.

If you would like to ship to an address other than your billing address, please contact your card issuing bank and have your shipping address added as an alternate to your card. Simply let the card issuer know that you are placing a phone order and the retailer needs to verify the address before shipping your order to eliminate the possibility of fraudulent activity.

Orders requiring additional information may not only delay shipment, but also result in the items you wish to purchase being sold out prior to receiving the necessary information from you.

Purchasing Virtual Gift Cards

PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company offers a great way to show someone how much you love them!

Virtual Gift Cards can be purchased online and emailed with a personalized message from the sender. Virtual Gift Cards are for online purchases only. Simply click here and you will be directed to your shopping bag to purchase and email a Virtual Gift Card to anyone with a valid email address. Virtual Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Virtual Gift cards are sold in whole dollar amount increments of $25, with a maximum of $2500.00

Redeeming a Virtual Gift Card

To make a purchase using your Virtual Gift Card you must first be registered as a customer at pittsburghjeanscompany.com. (See Registration). Once you are registered and you have added items to your shopping cart:

  1. Enter your Virtual Gift Card number in the GIFT CARD field of the payment screen. If you have a Virtual Gift Card saved to your account, click the box next to the item you wish to purchase.
  2. The shopping cart will automatically recalculate your total and the full amount of the Virtual Gift Card will be deducted from your order total.
  3. If your Virtual Gift Card is more than your total purchase, the balance will be saved to your account.
  4. If your Virtual Gift Card is less than the total amount of your purchase, a new total due will be calculated for you.

Simply fill out the personalized message box at checkout and we will transcribe it onto a card and put it in the gift box. We can also gift wrap your purchase for a fee of $10 per box. We will wrap your gift in tissue and place it in a signature printed PLUS by Pittsburgh Jeans Company gift box.

If we are out of stock on an item you have ordered, we will not charge your credit card.
